Falls Church
Named for an 18th century Church of England parish, Falls Church is a unique blend of history and convenience. The small city is very much a small town, with local businesses and high-rise condos lining the two shopping corridors (Broad Street and Washington Street). Numerous historical homes and sites are sprinkled through the town, and residents enjoy the quiet, tree-lined streets and close proximity to DC, Arlington, and Tysons Corner.
McLean/Great Falls
Those who prefer the privacy of grand homes and secluded estates often choose to call Great Falls and McLean home. Both towns border the Potomac River and are known for their mature trees, horse stables, gated driveways, and winding roads. With easy access to Washington, DC, everyone from diplomats to members of Congress to business leaders live here.
Vienna
The Town of Vienna in Fairfax County is in the middle of thriving Northern Virginia and is located 15 miles from the nation’s capital, Washington, DC. It’s known for its town center featuring mom & pop shops, parks, and the historic W&OD trail which runs by the community center, a primary gathering place for indoor sports, parties and performances.
Old Town Alexandria
The undeniable charm of Old Town, as the locals call it, is evident as soon as you arrive. Tidy and historic row houses, carriage houses, and Colonial homes line the streets. In the center of town, you’ll find both tourists and residents shopping and dining at the many local establishments along King Street - or relaxing in the parks along the Potomac River waterfront.
Springfield/Annandale
The adjacent suburban towns of Springfield and Annandale are a top choice for families who crave quiet neighborhoods, excellent schools, and easy access to commercial hubs along the Capital Beltway. Annandale is also home to Northern Virginia Community College and a thriving cluster of top-rated Korean restaurants.
Fairfax City
This small city of just 6.3 square miles is much more than the government seat of Fairfax County. A cluster of historic homes and buildings mark the downtown area, which is surrounded by quiet residential neighborhoods. George Mason University sits just south of the city, and I-66 is located just north, providing access to Tysons Corner, Arlington, and Washington, DC.
Ashburn
Just west of Fairfax County and Dulles International Airport is Ashburn, a large development in Loudoun County. Families flock to Ashburn for its excellent schools, beautiful parks, and quiet suburban life. Shopping centers are within an easy drive (or walk) of every neighborhood, and single-family homes, townhomes, and condos can be found at various price points.
