Fairfax City

This small city of just 6.3 square miles is much more than the government seat of Fairfax County. A cluster of historic homes and buildings mark the downtown area, which is surrounded by quiet residential neighborhoods. George Mason University sits just south of the city, and I-66 is located just north, providing access to Tysons Corner, Arlington, and Washington, DC.
