Stafford
Families looking for affordable neighborhoods that provide convenient suburban living, excellent schools, and ample recreation opportunities continue to move here from more expensive northern Virginia. Located 40 miles south of Washington, DC along I-95, newly built single-family homes and townhomes dominate the housing stock.
Fredericksburg
Fredericksburg seamlessly weaves together the old and the new. Small shops and restaurants, Civil War battlefields, stately homes, and the University of Mary Washington are nestled in the historic downtown. Surrounding downtown are both new and established suburban neighborhoods, plentiful shopping, and the beautiful Virginia countryside.
Fawn Lake
Fawn Lake is a family-friendly gated community in Fredericksburg that was designed to provide residents with tranquil lakeside living. Spanning over 2,300 acres of gently rolling countryside and surrounded by 7.4 miles of shoreline, all single-family homes have expansive private yards nestled among lush woods and lakeside neighborhoods linked by nature trails.
Spotsylvania County
Once you leave the suburban enclaves of Stafford, Fredericksburg, and Fawn Lake, you will find yourself in the beautiful countryside that Spotsylvania County is known for. Rolling green pastures and quiet forests are dotted with small towns, equestrian estates, award-winning wineries, and, because this is Virginia, abundant Colonial and Civil War history. Many northern Virginia and Washington, DC residents buy second homes here to escape busy urban living.
