An evening packed with family fun for all ages, starting at 5 PM - the event includes live music, a DJ, a Vendor Row filled with food trucks, local goods, and festive merchandise, The Meadow Bar serving beer and wine, and high-flying thrills from the Flying Circus Airshow, lawn games, sports, bounce house and rock wall, pony rides, a petting zoo, and so much more!

Head out to Historic Downtown Manassas for an all-American celebration on Independence Day! Celebrate America! features a variety of food and craft vendors, offering delicious treats and unique items. The highlight of the evening is one of the largest fireworks displays in Northern Virginia, lighting up the sky at 9:15 p.m. This exciting event runs from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Bring your friends and family to enjoy a day of patriotic fun, great food, and unforgettable fireworks! You can join us on the Manassas Museum lawn for the fireworks display - bring your chairs and blankets!

Leesburg Independence Day Celebrations

Independence Day Parade - July 4, 10 a.m.
Downtown Leesburg - King St from Ida Lee Dr to Fairfax St
  Concert and Fireworks at Ida Lee Park - 6 p.m.

Both events are free to attend

Start the holiday by showing your patriotic spirit at the annual Independence Day Parade, held through Historic Downtown Leesburg beginning at 10:00 am. The parade will start at Ida Lee Park, led by the American Originals and travel down King Street and conclude at Fairfax Street. Put on your patriotic best and join your friends and neighbors to celebrate the birthday of the United States!

In the evening, come back to celebrate America’s big day at Ida Lee Park and enjoy a great night of music, food, fireworks, and fun! Gates open at 6:00 pm and music starts at 6:30 pm, a full food court will be onsite with funnel cakes, ice cream, burgers, hot dogs, tacos, and so much more. The biggest bang of the evening begins at 9:30 pm when the largest fireworks show in the region will light up the sky. Choreographed to patriotic music, this light show is not to be missed.

Both events are free to attend. Public access to the West Lawn begins at 3 p.m. Fireworks to begin around 9:09 p.m. Star-studded PBS televised concert can also be live-streamed.
